You Usually Make More Money Working a Real Job, Even If You’re a Decent Gambler I’ve never been a full-time gambler, but I’ve come close to making the jump a couple times. But what I found out both times was pg that I could make more money, with less stress, working a regular job. To be clear, the jobs I’ve worked over the years pay far more than minimum wage, so I wasn’t comparing $10 or less an hour against what I could make gambling. But I also considered the stress and wear and tear on my mind and body that was required to make a living gambling.
